Experience
Maria is a warm and experienced Counselling Psychologist with almost 20 years working with psychological health and wellbeing across the life span. She has worked in government and non-government settings including private practice, university counselling and various community health settings. Maria values integrity and welcomes diversity and inclusion. She takes a non-pathologising approach to her assessments of difficulties and treatment. Maria seeks to understand the unique circumstances that have impacted on people’s lives with the aim of assisting clients to regain their strength, identity and confidence. Maria also values evidence-based practice and importantly, establishing a genuine therapeutic relationship with clients.
Maria is committed to helping individuals aged 18 years and over to relieve stress, gain new insights, learn skills, and achieve meaningful change.
