Shelley is a Clinical Psychologist who aims to inspire those she works with by prioritising self-reliance, self-empowerment and humility in psychological therapy. She is also creative and innovative in the way that psychological therapy is tailored to the client’s needs. Given her strong background in health and clinical psychology, Shelley works to capture the full human experience by ensuring consideration of physical and psychological elements in her assessment and treatment approach. Shelley draws primarily on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) approaches. In addition to this, she uses positive psychology as well as strengths and values-based frameworks to foster deeper and ultimately more aspirational forms of self-development.
Shelley currently offers in-person appointments on Mondays at The Hartington Centre and telehealth therapy on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. After hours appointments are also available.
